Material Matters Demo
Paper is a direct and often overlooked material that can help jewelers expand the 2-Dimensional world into something wonderfully 3-D. We will mine different eras/cultures to discover different ways to fold, slot and tweak paper and create 3-d models that can be translated into a variety of materials. Please note that this is a hands-on demo and your participation is encouraged.
Participants should bring:
Scissors
Ruler
Journal/sketchbook
Clear tape
Elmer’s glue or glue stick
