Em Flaire

Em Flaire is an interdisciplinary French-American artist and designer based in New York. Their work explores play, movement and change through materiality. With a BFA from Parsons in Integrated Design, they have been working with metal for over ten years, starting in aluminum and steel fabrication and then developing jewelry skills for the past four years. They have worked as a fabricator, department head and event coordinator for projects at the Moma, Guggenheim, The Shed, Powerhouse Public arts, and Governer’s island. In addition to supporting roles, they have been completed a residency at Grace Performance space, was member of Makerspace’s community give back program spring cohort, and shown original work in five curated shows so far in 2025 across mediums of installation, metal, glass, textile and much more. Em loves learning and sharing the joy of making and is honored to be supporting students in their metalworking journey at Brooklyn Metal Works. To Learn more check out
