JJ Ignotz

JJ Ignotz is a professional photographer based in San Francisco and New York City. Since 2008, she has built a career creating portraits, headshots, editorial images, and fine art work. Her photographs have appeared on everything from banners and billboards to national ad campaigns, and her fine art series has received several awards and grants.

JJ’s experience spans people, places, and products, but what she loves most is helping artists and makers bring their work to life through images that feel authentic and engaging. Her teaching style is practical and encouraging—she believes that with the right tools and a few simple techniques, anyone can capture beautiful, eye-catching photos of their work.
