Virginia Cannella
Virginia Cannella is Education Coordinator and Residency Manager at Brooklyn Metal Works.
She is a fibers artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She received a BFA in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her practice as an educator is centered around socially informed pedagogy and culturally responsive public programming. Her current creative process centers around examining femininity, corroborating the digital and the physical through weaving, knitting, and quilting. She has shown work across the northeast, including MOONI (NYC), All Street Gallery (NYC), Gallery 263 (Boston), and Piano Craft Gallery (Boston).
